VOTE 1 MOKO FOR MAYOR OF THE FAR NORTH
Kia ora. It’s been an honour to serve as your Mayor. Over the past three years, we’ve faced significant challenges, but together we’ve achieved a lot - from disaster recovery to progress in community infrastructure.
Looking ahead, the next Council will need to tackle big decisions on roading, waste management, water services, and the District Plan, alongside further central government reform.
We need positive, steady leadership to navigate what’s ahead and set the Far North up for long-term success. I’m committed to leading a transparent, engaged, and forward-focused Council that keeps our communities at the centre of every decision.
Vote 1 - Moko for Mayor. Strong, experienced leadership to get the best for the Far North.

VOTING INFO
The voting period has officially started!
There are 48,825 enrolled voters in the Far North and we'll be receiving voting packs in the post between the 9th to the 22nd September.
Complete your voting documents and either post them back, or drop them at a ballot box at a council polling place.
Council has Mobile Ballot Boxes out across the district daily throughout the voting period. Check out where they'll be here:
The Electoral Commission estimates that the Far North has around 8,200 eligible voters who aren't enrolled! If you don't receive a voting pack, you can enrol and cast a special vote by calling 0800 36 76 56 or visiting a council polling place!
